Washing & Care Instructions for Your Tanviya Sarees

  • Prior to the initial wash, immerse the saree in cold water with a pinch of salt for 10-15 minutes. This avoids color bleeding during subsequent washes.
  • Use normal water and mild detergent when handwashing.
  • Do not wring the saree vigorouslyratherallow excess water to drain naturally.
  • To keep the saree crisp, starching after washing is advisable.

  • Wrap your silk sarees in breathable cotton or muslin cloth while storing.
  • Don’t use plastic wrapsparticularly for sarees containing zari or embroidery, as they can lead to oxidation and damage.
  • Pack your silk sarees in saree bags and don’t fold them too much to avoid creases and fabric stress.
